Keep your employees happy, your customers happier

As a business, one of our priorities is to make sure we keep our customers satisfied. Other than providing wonderful products and services to attract customers to come back, we should also make sure that our customer services are on point.
But how can we exactly achieve that "Great Customer Service"? Of course, by keeping our employees happy!
There are many benefits of having a happy and satisfied staff representing you and your business. Since they are the ones that your customers engage with most of the time, you want them to interact with your customers confidently. Thay can be in a physical store, over the phone, online support, deliveries, etc.
You see, happy employees will be proactive, innovative and creative too. traits that you want in an employee when handling critical situations with customers. They are also motivated and productive at work, which means that your customers are most likely to have a great experience interacting with your staff. As a customer, that is one of the best reasons for me to keep me coming back.
You may train an employee on what to say or do to be able to do the work right but with a happy employee, you will be surprised to see them do so much more. Also, employees that are happy are most likely to stay with the company or business longer and/or for good. Which means you are saving costs since you don't have to go through the trouble of finding replacements.
Now that you know the benefits of keeping your employees happy, let's talk about how to make them happy, to begin with.
It is important to appreciate their hard work and dedication, praising them can help motivate them to perform even better. It is also crucial to use the right tone when giving your feedback if they committed mistakes. Discuss with them what can be done better instead of being quick to criticize.
You might as well ask them for feedback, understand their struggles at the workplace. Take the time to see if you are able to provide them with all the tools and support that they need to do their roles. Make sure to not just take care of your employees but their loved ones too. This means, giving them the time for their family and ensuring that they get paid on time.
